A New Year

Welcome to 2007. See ya in hell, 2006. Ok, maybe lasy year wasn’t SO bad. Well, at least it wasn’t ALL bad. I DID start this blog, and my podcast last year, and I’m looking to do even more with that this year.

Today I went to Mom and Dad’s for the traditional New Year’s lunch of black-eyed peas, and collard greens. No hog jowls, but a little token pork was cooked in the peas, I’m sure. Also mashed potatos, corn muffins, and beef stew. Elizabeth and Al were there as well. Mom took Elizabeth’s car for a test drive as she’s thinking about buying it.

It was a nice, sunny day, after two days of constant rain. Fortunately the basement did not flood. I came home and did another load of laundry to help Sandi, who’s still suffering with broken ribs, and launged around. Tomorrow it’s time to start figuring out what I’m going to do with the rest of my life!
